A Collection of Brightly Coloured Dotted Lines

I've had quite a few questions about where I'm actually going on this trip. I'm hoping this brief map I made up with help clear things up. I've divided the dashed lines by country(traveling too or in) The Red Star Is our starting point and the green star our ending point. This should take us from April 28th until August 30th. After that I have a month to find my way back to Krakow by train, plane, or motorized bicycle. I will spend the next few weeks going over this leg of the trip as I need to figure out many of the details myself. Perhaps before I leave, or when I've settled in Krakow I'll begin to formulate a few more ideas for this fall. Moscow, Istanbul, any suggestions?

It's Official

Well, it's official. I'm moving to Poland come September. Of course this is no little jaunt, no stop over for tea and biscuits. Instead I plan to see the country side, not just of Poland but of an entire continent. I've setup this blog as a bit of a communal area where I can update you (family and friends) with pictures, postcards(?) and other musing that occur on my travels. Whether this will be an active source of information or an idle though remains to be seen. All I can say is that reality and excitement have started to set in at the prospect as I tick off the days until my flight departs. Next up, an initial map outlining the basic route of my travels.
